Switch between Dig Deep and V-UNO X

Dig Deep → V‑UNO X

Procedure

  • Connect the pedal to USB (DC jack disconnected).
  • Open the Dig Deep MK3 Editor and click Scan and Link in the Connection menu.
  • Press CTRL + SHIFT + P to open the advanced window.
  • Set E2P addr = 50 (top right) and click Erase E2P.
  • Wait until the pedal’s main LED flashes a few times.
  • Set E2P addr = 51 and click Erase E2P again.
  • Wait for the LED to flash a few times.
  • Disconnect the pedal from USB and close the Dig Deep Editor.
  • Reconnect the USB cable while holding the SAVE button until LED II turns on.
  • Open the V‑UNO X Editor.
  • Go to Firmware Upgrade → Firmware Upgrade Mode.
  • Go to Connection, click Scan, then Link.
    • You should see: “Connection to Bootloader succeeded…”. Click OK.
  • Return to Firmware Upgrade and click Start Firmware Upgrade.
  • In the small window that appears, select the most recent firmware from the dropdown and click Upgrade Firmware.
  • When you see “Firmware Upgrade Complete, device will now restart”, click OK.
    • The main LED will flash a few times.
  • Select an effect category, choose the effect you want, and click Upload Selected Effect.

Note — Bank Mode vs Preset Mode

When switching between Dig Deep MK3 and V‑UNO X, the pedal defaults to Bank Mode (main LED green), allowing up to three effects to be uploaded. Some effects are not available in Bank Mode. If you need an effect that only works in Preset Mode, switch modes as follows:

Switching to Preset Mode

  • Disconnect and reconnect the pedal via USB.
  • Click Scan and Link.
  • Go to Settings → Mode and select Preset Mode.
  • Choose the desired category and effect, then click Upload Selected Effect.

Important: Assign Bypass Toggle and Preset Change, otherwise you won’t be able to bypass or change presets.

V‑UNO X → Dig Deep

Procedure

  • Connect the pedal to USB (DC jack disconnected).
  • Open the V‑UNO X Editor and click Scan and Link in the Connection menu.
  • Press CTRL + SHIFT + P to open the advanced window.
  • Set E2P addr = 50 and click Erase EEprom.
  • Wait until the main LED flashes a few times.
  • Set E2P addr = 51 and click Erase EEprom again.
  • Wait for the LED to flash a few times.
  • Disconnect the pedal from USB and close the V‑UNO X Editor.
  • Reconnect the USB cable while holding the SAVE button until LED II turns on.
  • Open the Dig Deep Editor.
  • Go to Firmware Upgrade → Upgrade Mode.
  • Go to Connection and click Scan & Link.
    • You should see: “Connection to Bootloader succeeded…”. Click OK.
  • A small window will appear. Select the most recent firmware from the dropdown and click Upgrade Firmware.
  • When you see “Firmware Upgrade Complete, device will now restart”, click OK.
    • The main LED will flash a few times.
  • The editor will then prompt you to upload the latest algorithm version. Click OK, then Upload Audio Algorithm.
  • Go to Settings and click Set Assignable Parameters to Default, then click Save Parameters.
  • Go to Settings again and click Upload Tuning Data.
