Issue #1 – 13 June 2025
Some users have reported an issue when upgrading from firmware 7 to 8. The issue will freeze the pedal making it impossible to use. The issue is caused by a memory mismatch, while we have not tracked the specific issue (if you want to contribute finding the issue see the procedure below) if the pedal gets freezed the solution is to:
- Upgrade the firmware to version 8 (or above). Make sure editor is 1.9 (or above).
- Connect the pedal to USB while keeping the WAVE button pressed. BLUE LED will flash a few time.
- Connect the pedal to the editor from connection menu > Connect
- WIth the editor open click CTRL+SHIFT+P on your keyboard, a debug window will appear
- Enter the values as showed in the picture below and click Erase E2P button
- At this point the the RED LED will turn ON for a few seconds and flashes a few times to indicate that memory has been erased
- Close debug window and select the Dig Deep MK3 0010 (or greater) and click Upload Selected button. Orange LEDs will turn on in sequence, RED LED will flash a few times and relay will click. Now the pedal should work again.

Thanks for volunteering to track the bug! Before erasing the pedal memory as outlined above do this:

- WIth the editor open click CTRL+SHIFT+P on your keyboard, a debug window will appear
