Dig Deep MK3 Troubleshooting

Restore settings to Factory Defaults

Before starting the procedures outlined below, it’s good practice to close the application and disconnect the pedal from USB. Also make sure the pedal is not powered through the DC jack, otherwise the procedure will not work.

Case A: no Dry or Sub signal on the output (from Editor version 1.21)

If the pedal is still able to link to the application and the parameters window opens after linking, first check whether Input Level has been accidentally went all the way down in the parameter window. If Input Level is set to minimum turn it up and click Save Parameters.

If still there’s no audio signal after checking the obvious, follow this procedure to restore the pedal to fasctory settings:

  1. Connect the pedal to USB, open the application and click Scan & Link. Parameter window should open.1
  2. Open Firmware UpgradeErase Settings. Click YES, wait for the red LED to flash, then click NO when prompted for the memory check.
  3. Click Upload Audio Algorithm and wait a few seconds until all orange LEDs turn ON and the red LED flashes a few times.
  4. Go to Settings menu and click Set Assignable Parameters to Default
  5. Click Save Parameters.
  6. Configure your desired Assignments, then click Assign (wait for the red LED to finish flashing).

Case B: Pedal is unresponsive, “Erase Settings” throws an error, Application errors after Scan & Link or Parameter window not showing up after Scan & Link (from Editor version 1.21)

  2. Open the application, go to Connection → Scan and Link.
