Description
Parallel Dimension — Analog BBD Chorus & Vibrato
The Parallel Dimension is a fully analog modulation pedal built around a classic Bucket‑Brigade Device (BBD) line. It delivers lush, dimensional chorus and expressive vibrato with remarkable fidelity to your core tone.
At the heart of the design is a dedicated Aliasing control, offering a unique way to introduce harmonic grit and Lo‑Fi texture. Whether used subtly or pushed into experimental territory, it adds a character that sets the Parallel Dimension apart from traditional modulation pedals.
Controls
Speed – Sets the rate of the LFO, from slow, drifting movement to fast, shimmering modulation.
Depth – Adjusts the amplitude of the modulation, ranging from gentle widening to deep, warbling sweeps.
Aliasing – Introduces a distinctive Lo‑Fi edge that interacts musically with the BBD line.
- At minimum, the control is fully disabled for a clean, classic modulation tone.
- At low settings, it behaves almost like a tube‑style breakup, adding a soft, organic grit.
- The Aliasing circuit operates independently from Speed and Depth, meaning it can be used even with the modulation fully turned down—perfect for adding subtle harmonic texture without movement.
Chorus / Vibrato – Switches between a spacious, detuned chorus or a pure pitch‑modulated vibrato.
Features
The Parallel Dimension uses true‑bypass switching with a rugged Alpha™ 3PDT footswitch for long‑term reliability. A bright white LED provides real‑time visual feedback by pulsing in sync with the LFO’s speed and depth.
